Vaak Design is a platform within Vaak Collective dedicated to supporting independent Iranian designers, with a particular focus on women-led practices. Based in London, it provides space for designers whose work is often underrepresented to present, share and develop their ideas.
Over the years, Vaak Design has hosted and showcased the work of more than 20 designers across fashion, jewellery and object design, creating opportunities for visibility, collaboration and exchange within a wider cultural context.

Vaak Design at Vaak Persian Festival is a dedicated programme curated by Vaak Collective, presented at Rich Mix, London. It brings together a selection of independent Iranian designers, showcasing distinctive works across fashion, jewellery and object design.
Positioned within the wider festival, Vaak Design expands the programme beyond music and film, introducing a material and spatial dimension to the experience.

From Creativity to Independence : A workshop with Leila Pourshaban and Nazanin Fatahi (ZARGH O VARGH)
Curated by Vaak Design, this workshop is led by designer and Zarghovargh co-founder Leila Pourshaban, exploring how personal expression can evolve into a creative practice. Working within the constraints of Iran’s fashion scene, she has developed a distinctive approach that transforms performance, courage and individuality into wearable forms.
The session invites participants to reflect on their own stories and creative potential, offering insight into how design can become a path towards independence and self-expression.
